According to Grand Fork County State’s Attorney David Jones, law enforcement officers tried to stop David James Elliot so he could talk with Altru ambulance workers at the North Washington Street exit, but Elliott would not stop.

Essentially – law enforcement was insisting David Elliot accept roadside emergency hospital care at gunpoint.

This revelation is significant, because it has also been revealed that Elliot called 911 after the police began chasing him on February 27, 2015.

The latest revelations create several questions that Jones and law enforcement will not answer.

1. Did David James Elliot call 911 because he needed medical attention?

2. What was wrong with him?

3. Had he already been shot prior to being shot by Jared Braaten?

4. Why did the Grand Forks Police Department, North Dakota Highway Patrol, Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Office, and University of North Dakota Police try to stop David Elliot from making it to Altru’s main hospital and emergency room?
